Festival Anima : Tatsumi
Competition
In postwar Japan, young Yoshihiro Tatsumi is a successful mangaka. These comics are primarily a way to help out his family but when he meets Ozamu Tezuka he develops a new form of more adult stories.
By using his own drawings and transforming them into some convincing animation, the film tells the story of a demanding and tormented man who turns out to be a well-rounded fictional character in his own right.
