I Feel Like Disco
Brussels Film Festival | Panorama
Florian Herbst is happier when his dad is not at home. It is only then that he can dance around the house with his mum and forget all his troubles. Hanno Herbst doesn’t really know what to do with his son who has two left hands and is neither interested in sports nor girls. But it’s not that bad! There’s still Mum. With a tender dominance she keeps the family’s fragile harmony in shape and protects her two men from each other… At least until that terrible morning when Mum vanishes from their lives in the blink of an eye and falls into a coma. Father and son are left behind, overwhelmed, but gradually learn to cope with each other and find common ground.
