Marja, 27 years-old, is a single mother. She works night shifts delivering newspapers. She spends her days taking care of her 7 years-old daughter Julia. It’s August and Julia is supposed to begin school, but for some reason Marja has problems with letting her go. One day they meet on a street Kamaran, a Kurd emigrant and Marja’s old flame. Kamaran turns out to be Julia’s father who’s never even known that he has a daughter. As Julia starts to realize who this strange man is, Marja turns more and more possessive. Marja decides to get an illegal gun, just to make sure that her daughter will not be taken away from her.
