Simon Spies (Pilou Asbaek), the king of charters trips, and Mogens Glistrup (Nicolas Bros), a right-wing tax lawyer, shared a friendship between the 60’s to the 80’s. The first one, as a perfect hedonist, liked sex and drugs; the second, a radical activist, hated taxes. This colorful biopic from Christoffer Boe (Reconstruction, awarded in Cannes), a huge success in Denmark, traces the extraordinary journey of two flamboyant public figures of Danish contemporary history.
