Belgian composer Albert Huybrechts was the prisoner of a modest financial situation and a difficult private life. Music became a means of salvation and escapism. In parallel to the screening of the film S'enfuir by Joachim Thôme in Studio 5 on November 7th, a selection of contrasting works from the composer will be performed by four musicians. This will include the Violin Sonata for which Albert Huybrechts won the Coolidge prize, the equivalent to the Nobel Prize in music. He is a composer to be (re)discovered both in film and sound.
