Vie privée + Tableaux dans un grenier
Weekend Documentary FWB: Focus André Dartevelle
André Dartevelle dedicated a great deal of his efforts to raising the profile of often unknown Belgian artists. Tableaux dans un grenier (winner of best film at the Asolo Art Festival in 2005) depicts Roger La Croix, who died poor and alone and whose paintings were discovered by accident, covered in dust in an attic. Vie privée, trente ans de sculpture highlights Marianne Berenhaut, whose work evokes the tragedy of the 20th century, seen through the eyes of a child, with puppets and installations.
