Pascal Schumacher, unanimously praised artist at the 2014 Luxembourg Jazz Meeting and one of Europe’s leading vibraphone players, is set to release a new album worldwide, in March 2015 through Laborie Jazz. Left Tokyo Right, which will be presented in Flagey, is the beautiful result of a 2-week residency in Tokyo, and sounds surprisingly different than any other album Pascal has previously recorded. Featuring international guests like Magic Malik, Verneri Pohjola, Sylvain Rifflet and Aliénor Mancip, Pascal Schumacher’s new album has an open and boundless sound, flirting with minimalism and contemporary classic.
