Perhaps, but they are also artists and poets without anger, who have chosen to turn their backs on their elders, like Cimermanis or Riduze and other masters of puppet animation that populated their childhoods with colourful fantasy creatures. Rather than the palpability of stop motion, they prefer the freeness of line to tell other stories to us adults.
