La Guerre des ondes

70 years after the War, we cast new light on the little-explored murky file of radio propaganda at the time of the War. The public, comfortably seated in Flagey’s Studio 1, has the opportunity of reliving this experience and to hear the little-known story of the radio in war time. The evening will be presented by Pascale Tison, host and producer, together with actors and singers such as Philippe Drecq and Delphine Gardin. They’ll perform and interpret the propaganda columns and the songs that were frequently airplayed during the Occupation, alternating with numerous previously unheard sound archives. Reports, columns and interviews will be heard, produced in Belgium and in London, but also in the Belgian Congo, in New York or even in Ukraine, on the Eastern Front with the troops of the Walloon Legion.

The evening will be presented by Pascale Tison, host and producer of the programme ‘Par ouï dire’ on la Première RTBF radio station, surrounded by several other guests.
