#19 The nightingale of the land of the morning calm
Festival Musiq'3
Soprano Sumi Hwang won the Queen Elisabeth competition 2014 with brio. After her studies in Seoul, she went on to study in Munich, where she became familiar with Western culture. She is without a doubt and foremost a world class artist; sensitive, refined and with a voice that touches the audience deeply. Jonas Vitaud, who was also her piano accompanist during the competition, is back at her side.
