De Beren Gieren is a young Belgian trio developing a distinct identity at the fractures of styles. Inspired by jazz, classical music and rock music, the three musicians provide robust evidence that gold can still be mined from the union of a piano, bass and drums. Based on the compositions of pianist Fulco Ottervanger, the trio created in 2009 always seeks for new challenges.

This year 2015 they are touring around Europe with Portuguese trumpet player Susana Santos Silva to present their album A Detour Fish released on Cleanfeed records. The trio is invited by Flagey to present their newest project One Mirrors Many, bringing self-made and analog electronic material to their sound.
