Lecture “The restoration and renovation of Studio 4”.

Philippe Samyn is a civil engineer, architect and urban planner, Doctor in applied sciences and one of the most important designers in the implementation of innovative constructions, not only in terms of structure and scope, but also for the development of energy technologies. The diversity of his projects (auditoriums, hospitals, houses, monumental office buildings, research centers, an opera house, etc.) is proof of his perfect grasp on engineering in its many forms. His contribution to the renovation of our very own Studio 4 in Flagey, formerly a broadcasting house, is a real masterpiece of both the acoustic and spatial kinds.
