The two Suites for two pianos by Rachmaninoff are among most pianists’ favorite pieces and without a doubt the general public’s favorites as well. These very original suites depict two periods in the composer’s life and are written with the same inspiration, passion and virtuosity which is so particular to Rachmaninov’s piano concertos.
For the occasion, the Suites will be interpreted by soloists from the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.
