The Antwerp-based band Les Blauw gets its inspiration from the virtuoso jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt. These musicians will introduce you to the world of this Belgian legend, a man who singlehandedly created a new musical language (the Manouche or Gipsy jazz) and attracted millions of fans all over the world. Besides Django’s jazz classics – generally considered to be the Europe’s alternative to American swing – the band will perform their own compositions and honor some of Django’s contemporaries: Baro Ferret and Duke Ellington.
