Singin' in the rain
Young Film Fans | Junior 8+
Even more than sixty years after being released, Singin’ in the rain has lost nothing of its incredibly uplifting energy and its infectious humour. In 1927 the Lockwood-Lamont combination was a ticket to success. With the transition from silent films, the producers crossed over to make a comedy musical. The only problem was that Lina Lamont, a ravishing actress adored by the public, did not have the singing voice to back it up. Luckily, Kathy (Debbie Reynolds) stepped in to save the day.
