The Little Tramp
Ciné-concert | Junior 3+
The Little Tramp is growing up...
The Little Tramp in his lab...
The years between 1914 and 1918 were the “laboratory” years during which Charlie Chaplin spent a lot of time experimenting and shaping his character of “the Tramp”. He is a clown who was catapulted from the Music Hall to the cinema. All of his gags and stunts are linked to his early stage debuts. It is because of Chaplin’s great talent and candor as ‘The Tramp’ that remarkable movies such as The Kid, The Circus and City Lights (among others) were made possible.
The cine-concert The Little Tramp offers a great mix of these films from the years '14-'18 with excerpts from The Immigrant, The Cure, Pawn Shop,... The cheerful and funny music will be improvised live by Claire Goldfarb on the cello and Jean Jadin at the piano.
Everyone is welcome to attend: this visual and musical experience will delight both young and old!
