Over the seasons, we follow the lives of a family of Inuits in Canada’s Far North. Flaherty was a pioneer of ethnographic cinema and Nanook was the first masterpiece of the genre – although it took some liberties with reality. Ultimately, a work of true humanity and great artistic beauty. The documentary will be preceded by the comedy short film Saïda a enlevé Manneken-Pis (Saida kidnapped Manneken Pis).
