L'art et la révolte is a show of Abd Al Malik inspired by the work of Albert Camus.

Initiated by the Grand Théâtre de Provence, this performance was originally part of "Marseille 2013, European capital of culture".

The show mixes songs from the discography of Abd Al Malik with new work.

Abd Al Malik skillfully wields the arts of hip hop culture: rap, dance and video, and integrates them in a precise and exciting staging.

Abd Al Malik presents himself on stage as a narrator reading from a big book from which draws the texts, thus projecting the work of Albert Camus in the prism of contemporary society. The show offers a thoughtful adaptation of the themes of Camus, and will appeal both beginners as loyal readers of Albert Camus.
