Queen Elisabeth Competition [First round]

Each candidate will play a Prelude and Fugue from J.S. Bach’s Well-Tempered Clavier and the first movement of a sonata by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, or Schubert. To complete the candidate’s programme, the jury will select one or more études from among the four études prepared by the candidate (one by Chopin, one by Liszt, one by Debussy, and one chosen from among the études of Bartók, Dusapin, Ligeti, Messiaen, Ohana, Prokofiev, Rachmaninov, Rautavaara, Skryabin, and Stravinsky).
