1 year-old Adama lives in a remote village in Africa. Beyond the cliffs, lies the Land of Breaths and the kingdom of the Nassara. When one night Samba, his elder brother, vanishes, Adama decides to go in search of him, against the wishes of the village elders. With the unwavering determination of a child who becomes a man, he begins a quest that will take him over the seas, to Verdun, in the midst of World War I!
