Jean, a famous Belgian wrestler, swears to avenge the rape of his daughter by German soldiers. Along with his trainer and nephew, he enrols in the prestigious Belgian armoured car division. This is the start of an epic 4-year voyage taking them around the world. In spite of the horrors of war, the upheavals and sorrows, Jean eventually finds a reason to live.
