In Japanese culture, yôkai are imaginary creatures who nest in the dark nooks and crannies of the world and intervene in people’s day-to-day life. These spirits are sometimes kind, benevolent, at other times violent, mean,… or just plain lazy. This family show takes children and adults deep into the mesmerizing realm of these both terrifying and reassuring whimsical creatures.
