String Sextet

Students and teachers from of the Music Chapel share the stage for a concert dedicated to the string sextet. Brahms and Schönberg spent most of their careers in Vienna, although at different time periods. Schönberg was an unconditional admirer of Brahms. His early works, such as Transfigured Night, still reflect the greatness of this late romanticism.
