Music of Edward Artemiev: Brussels Philharmonic, Vlaams Radio Koor, Dirk Brossé

This concert by Brussels Philharmonic and Vlaams Radio Koor during the Russian Days is dedicated to the creative tandem Artemiev-Mikhalkov. The Russian film-maker Mikhalkov was internationally nominated and rewarded multiple times (Grand Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, Academy Award for best foreign language movie…), and most of his soundtracks are composed by Artemiev, one of the Russian pioneers of electronic music. Their faithful collaboration is as strong and successful as other tandems such as Morricone/Leone, Rota/Fellini, Elfmann/Burton, Sarde/Sautet…
