Tom Harrell is a well-known name on the jazz scene. This 70 year old composer and American trumpeter has collaborated with big names such as Stan Kenton, Dizzie Gillespie, Lee Konitz and Joe Lovano. In 2014, he founded the Trip, a new quartet (without piano) which he compares with a classical chamber music group: each instrument is equally important. No doubt, expectations run high!
