Saleem Ashkar has become an indispensable part of the piano world since his debut in the New York Carnegie Hall. This Ambassador of Music Fund (a foundation dedicated to musicians and music schools in areas of conflict areas) is making a European tour with the complete sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven. For this concert, he brings us a snapshot of this grand project with, among others, the famous Hammerklavier Sonata.
