Thibaut Lenaerts, Philippe Riga

The extraordinary poetry of Victor Hugo, Paul Verlaine, or Sully Prudhomme has been set to music by many French composers. Gabriel Fauré too was inspired by his stanzas and the songs he composed are one of a kind. Thibaut Lenaerts and Philippe Riga have now immortalised these songs on their latest album, playing on a Erard Model 2 from 1873. A must!
