Life Must Go On
Panorama Outsiders | Brussels Film Festival
Bartek, alcoholic and debonair actor, is diagnosed with incurable cancer. What to do during the three months he has left to live? Reconcile with his family? Suicide? Or re-edit his life by trying to fix the past and what is left to live. Inspired by a true story, the film immediately causes a strong empathy for the main character as we follow him in the last days of his life. But quirky humor often gets the upper hand on the drama. The strength of the theme and its originality makes this film both dramatic and hilarious. Tomasz Kot brilliantly fills the screen again after his memorable role in Gods.
