Our Everyday Life reveals Bosnian director and screenwriter Ines Tanovic on the international scene. In her film she tells the story of a middle class family living in Sarajevo. Following his divorce, the son comes back to live with his parents. The father runs a company that is in the process of being privatised and the mother finds out that she has breast cancer. Meanwhile, the biker daughter realises that she is pregnant. Despite these somehow ordinary lives, Tanovic pushes us to become fond of this family facing many life challenges and choices. A beautiful film, carrying a strong humanist and universal message, perfectly depicting nowadays society.
