Par accident

Premiere | Brussels Film Festival

A young woman runs over a pedestrian by accident. She feels guilty and worries about the man who fell into a coma. Another woman testifies to the police claiming that the accident was caused by the man throwing himself under the car. But why did she do this and get closer to the driver to the point of becoming a friend? The film begins as a daily drama to decline into a thriller full of suspense, which is not without reminding us of the superb Harry, He’s Here to Help. Emilie Dequenne, almost unrecognizable, brilliantly builds up her character with the necessary disorder to grasp her. A first film well built up by Camille Fontaine who has already proven herself as a screenplay writer.
