Nora Sator, careerist in her early thirties, enters the world of high finance. When she learns that her boss and his wife knew her father when they were young, she finds out that a mysterious rivalry still exists between them. Gradually, she gains the trust of her superiors and even refuses to fall in love although her sister has fallen for the first comer. Pascal Bonitzer, who gave a workshop on his work at the Brussels Festival two years ago, returns with his latest film, a unique comedy with a superb offbeat tone. The world of finance is used only as backdrops for an uncompromising yet funny portrait of a certain bourgeoisie for whom social climbing remains a secure pathway. But in the end, would it not be better to live with a bit of love and happiness.
