Young Icarus lives alone with his mother who likes beer and "goes to heaven". She used to call him Courgette, and that's what he wants to be known as at the foster home where he ends up with other kids like Simon, Beatrice or Camille, each with their flaws, but also their tactics to carry on. Together, they will learn to resist misfortune thanks to humour and friendship.
