The Four Seasons of Cinergie

To mark 50 years of public support for the production of cinematographic works by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, Cinergie devotes its “Four Seasons” summer session to the history of Belgian short films.

On 21 June at Flagey’s Studio 5, you will be able to (re)discover Philippe Boon and Laurent Brandenbourger’s Le Trieur (1993, 11’), Martine Doyen’s Noël au Balcon (1997, 25’), Xavier Diskneuve’s Mon Cousin Jacques (2004, 28’) and Vincent Patar and Stéphane Aubier’s Panique au Village: la Bûche de Noël (2014, 28’). These films have been chosen for their humour, sometimes dissonant, often offbeat, bordering on the absurd, insolent at times, but always indulgent.
