Fed by his fascination for the composer Antonio Vivaldi, Vincent Engel offers us an thrilling portrait of the man and the artist. This concert, directed by Gabriel Alloing, reveals the different facets of Vivaldi's life which have influenced his music in various ways. The story takes us to the St. Mark's Square in Venice. The extraordinary Pietro Pizzuti impersonates the composer together with the singers and the musicians of Les Muffatti, who are at the same time actors of the story and interpreters of Vivaldi's universal music.
