Abdel Rahman El Bacha

Pure poetry! That is what Lebanese pianist and composer Abdel Rahman El Bacha brings us on this Saturday morning. This winner of the Queen Elisabeth Music Competition in 1978 (at the age of just nineteen) is presenting his latest CD with his own compositions, based on his rich career and numerous musical encounters. He alternates his particularly colourful music with popular piano works by Chopin and Schuman and Spanish composer Granados, also known as the 'Spanish Chopin'.
