Le Concert Olympique, Till Fellner, Antje Weithaas & Maximilian Hornung

The concert opens with the last symphony of Beethoven's teacher Joseph Haydn and reminds us of the musical roots of Beethoven. Le Concert Olympique continues with two concertos by Beethoven: The Triple Concerto for piano, violin and cello in which three solo instruments tell the musical story and the Fifth Piano Concerto, the so-called “Emperor”, in which the composer adopts a musical language conveying a message that transcends the purely virtuosic.
