Starting from rushes found in the Royal Belgian Film Archive, Winter and Plantier dug deep to reconstruct the history of the forgotten Marquis Robert de Wavrin. He was the first white man to film the Shuars in the Twenties, a people in the Northern Amazon region. A unique film about the pristine Amazon forest.
