The Vlaams Radio Koor, Flagey’s choir in residence, is garnering praise across Europe. For this concert, they will be playing two magnificent works by Handel. He was only 22 in 1707 when he wrote the Dixit Dominus psalm that brought him fame in Rome where he lived at the time. He wrote the deeply affecting The ways of Zion do Mourn for the funeral of Queen Caroline, who was one of his friends.
