Les Rayures du zèbre + Big Memory : Benoît Mariage

An unscrupulous football scout goes to Côte d’Ivoire to unearth a diamond in the rough so coveted by European football clubs (in this case, Sporting Charleroi). This is a black comedy (no pun intended) on the migratory movements of professional sport and the exploitation of Africans sold on the great dreams peddled by the media. The Mariage/Poelvoorde combo once again (for the third time) works wonders. The screening will be complemented by Benoît Mariage’s interview with Richard Olivier for Big Memory.
