Independent, incisive and at times sarcastic, Claude Debussy practised criticism with a profound sense of freedom and had a sharp way with words, but his reviews remain as pertinent today as when they were written. He died exactly 100 years ago and the Kheops Ensemble invites us to join Debussy in a Parisian salon, where he and his fellow composers vie with one another in imagination in every possible pitch. An amusing show, full of emotion.
