Piknik with Brahms

‘It is as if the instruments were in love with each other’, a good friend of Brahms wrote after listening to the Clarinet trio. Passion and romance will be key during this piknik concert. Also on the programme, music by the late-romantic and lyrical composer whose music Brahms himself admired greatly : the Austrian-American composer Alexander Zemlinsky.

In collaboration with the Brussels Chamber Music Festival which will celebrate its fifth anniversary and will take place on the same week‑end in Castle Karreveld.
