This is the final concert of the series that the brilliant British pianist and artist in residence at Flagey, Paul Lewis, has dedicated to the composers Haydn, Brahms and Beethoven. He will conclude the series of concerts with a final flourish, setting Haydn’s and Brahms’ music against Beethoven’s infamous Diabelli variations, “the greatest piano piece ever written’, according to Paul Lewis’ mentor, Alfred Brendel.
