Vadym Kholodenko / Ira Polyarnaya

Vadym Kholodenko

‘Impeccable, tasteful and vibrant, and also something more: imaginative' is how the press described Vadym Kholodenko after winning the Cliburn International Piano Competition. This young Ukrainian pianist also won the first prizes of the Sendai Piano Competition and the Maria Callas Competition in 2010 and of the Schubert Piano Competition in 2011. Kholodenko studied in Moscow, so the virtuoso and colourful Russian music by Rachmaninoff and Scriabin have no secrets for this promising pianist.
