Tony Allen & Jeff Mills ‘Live’

Two masters of rhythm, the “father of Afrobeat” Tony Allen and techno pioneer Jeff Mills, join forces for a worldwide tour throughout 2019 performing for the first time together in Belgium.

Channelling Fela Kuti, Art Blakey and Moritz von Oswald in equal amounts, the duo mix dub basslines and joyous gospel-like organ sounds into an indulgence in percussion. Their live shows have become a rhythm summit without equal, supplemented by the Moogs and synths of Jean-Philippe Dary, fusing past and future, digital and analogue, jazz and electro.
