An inspector doggedly sets out to prove that a suspect murdered his wife by throwing her out of the window so he could flee with his mistress. Prefacing Garde à vue (Audiard wrote the dialogue for both), this film pits police officer Philippe Noiret against alleged culprit Michel Serrault.
