Wardi, an eleven-year-old Palestinian girl, lives in a refugee camp in Beirut. Her great-grandfather, Sidi, has been there since 1948, after being chased from his village. The old man encourages the young girl to find out about her past through her relatives. A touching tale built around testimonies collected by the author from Palestinian refugees.
