Selkirk, the ruthless pirate captain of the Esperanza, is sailing the Southern Seas in search of treasure. With no galleys in sight, the pirates pass their time gambling and before long Selkirk loses his fortune, alienating his crew, who decide to maroon him on a desert island. There, he discovers a new way of life and learns how to look after himself and become a real... Robinson Crusoe!
