Ryszard Kapusinski, the legendary Polish journalist, travelled at length through Angola, ravaged by the last of the great colonial wars, and brought back a host of powerful images. This was the starting point for an animated film made in Spain by a Spanish-Polish filmmaking duo. The animated feature film with historical and political content is no longer a novelty; it is even becoming a trend and is clearly a promising new departure for the genre. Awarded a Goya in Spain.
