Based in Beirut, Ely Dagher is a graduate of Goldsmiths College in London. His work explores the possibilities that arise from the interplay between cultures, stories and fiction. He was awarded the Short Film Palme d’Or at Cannes for Waves’98. The Sea Ahead is his first feature film.
