Midsummer night in the north of Sweden. The kind-hearted Dunderklumpen feels lonely and goes in search of new friends. He finds the cuddly toys of the children Camilla and Jens. Without hesitation he breathes life into them and together they run away. Jens - with daddy in his wake - sets off in pursuit. It becomes an adventure full of music and fun. Bizarre creatures brighten up the trip and One-Eyed Cheater provides the necessary tension.
